This is the story of how I found one of the best timeshare resale companies and used it to sell my timeshare. I realize that a lot of owners are probably in the same shoes that I was in - paying maintenance fees by the boat load and trying to get rid of their timeshare as fast as possible. Well, hopefully what I'm about to say will help you some. I had a really tough time finding a company that I could trust. But I sold my timeshare and this is how...
When I first started thinking about selling, I called up my younger brother Pete. He also has a timeshare and I figured that he might have a tip or two with selling. He wasn't much help, but he did point me towards the Internet for help.
I looked around on the Internet when I found the time. I'd say it spent around 2-3 weeks searching for companies, talking to agents, and generally getting nowhere fast. I ended up talking to about 5-7 companies in a few weeks from the time I had started this whole ordeal - none of them were going to work.
They either wanted upfront fees and would stop at nothing to convince me that I needed to pay up. Either that, or I had a gut feeling that they company wasn't legitimate.
Well... things were looking bad for my timeshare selling adventure. Ask my wife and she'll tell you that I my hair was about to fall out. Maintenance fees were coming due again and I needed to find something... and fast!
That's when I somehow found this site called www.timesharesecrets.com where I read a few of a company, talked with them on the phone, and they got me squared away.
I think the service might still be available at Timeshare Secrets, but you'll have to go over to their site to see. There were a few services that they had reviewed on their site and it might not be available anymore. Nonetheless, it's worth checking on because that's where I found the service that helped me sell.
Thank you for reading and I hope you found my story helpful.
